Fujairah Toastmasters Club (FTC) organized its 1st meeting in 2010 with a bang at Fujairah International Marine Club on January 12th. Everything was special - different venue - more innovative - more Informative!

The overwhelming response from more than 45 attendees, members and guests savoured every moment of the meeting. The conference hall was fully packed!
The VIP guests were TM Zenith Raj Jolly Division J Governor and TM Sujith Sukumaran- They came all the way from Dubai.
The speaker of the day TM Sujith Sukumaran delivered a brilliant, informative & inspiring speech on “Marketing yourself”. He elaborated the process of marketing self with very good examples. He explained that its not always about doing your job well, its about how you present it. He also explained how he has been able to use the opportunities to his advantage by making the most of the situation. He narrated in details his encounter with Mr. Warren Buffet (world second richest man). It was 10 minutes meeting that he was given with the man, in which he had to do or say something that would make the difference. He chose to speak on his medical disability and how one could do something to support it, because of which he is still in touch with Mr. Warren Buffet. He also stressed every one present to prepare a brief to market self, which he called ‘Elevator speech’. The session was very interactive and fun.
