Revamped and renovated, the Fujairah Pharmacy now sports a modern new look

Branded as a Health First pharmacy, the store now carries more product categories as well as an impressive range of brands within categories. In toothpaste for example, I counted more than 23 brands for various dental needs – ranging from regular to smoker’s toothpaste; tubes with pearl drops; extra whitening tooth polish; fluoride; enamel care and more! And that is just in toothpaste!

The store has been divided into five categories now: Health; Beauty and Skin; Baby; Toiletries and Dispensary. You can buy over-the-counter and prescription medicine from the dispensary. Health contains an array of vitamins, natural herbal medicinal products, monitors, supportive binders and braces and walking aids. Beauty and Skin offers a comprehensive range of cosmetics, creams, lotions and products for hair, skin, face, nails and hands. The pharmacy also carries the newly launched Eye Slices which are small strips with cryogel technology. Just launched in the UAE, the South-African manufactured product can be used to reduce dark circles, brighten eyes, soften the effects of ageing, allergens and fatigue.
Toiletries offers a wide range of branded sun protection products, loofahs, shampoos, hairbrushes etc. and the Baby section has diapers of course but also breast pumps, baby toiletries and even feeding bottles and sterilisers.

Says Dr. Fatima Salem, Pharmacist in charge, “This is our first pharmacy that has been branded a ‘Health First’ pharmacy. Soon, all the other 58 pharmacies we have across the UAE will also be branded. There was a demand for product categorisation and it helps us to focus our attention and offer the consumer a wider choice of products with more reputed brands.”
