The Fujairah Crown Prince also witnessed the signing of an ethical environmental pact between the Municipality of Dibba Fujairah and influential institutions and hotels for the cleanliness and beauty of the coastal environment of the emirate of Fujairah. It seeks to strengthen social responsibility towards enhancing the sustainability of the coastal areas and achieving the strategic vision of Fujairah 2040. He also honoured the sponsors of the conference and the participants of the ethical pact.

In his speech, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, underlined that the concept of sustainable eco-tourism has achieved huge success in the country with its role in achieving a balance between economic benefits and environmental considerations. He emphasised that the ministry will launch two initiatives to develop coastal and maritime regions by planting more than 30,000 mangrove trees and coral gardens in the current year.
