Naseba seven is one man’s personal challenge to complete one iron-distance triathlon every day for seven consecutive days across the seven Emirates of the UAE.
Scott’s 40th birthday challenge coincides with the UAE’s 40th anniversary and will finish in Abu Dhabi around the National Day celebrations.
It also officially forms part of these celebrations – having been recognised by the National Day Committee as an event that appropriately commemorates the unity of the country
That’s 3.8 km of swimming, 180 km of cycling and 42.6 km of running – every day for a week.
Talking to his daughter as she waited for Scott to finish the swimming stage, she said her father inspired her to achieve her own dreams and she explained the meaning of the japanese word - naseba. So many people have dreams, but they don’t try and make their dreams happen. So you have to stop wasting your time sitting around thinking about it and get up and do it.
