Fazza wins Fujairah Grand Prix and the World X-Cat Series

The Fazza Team 3 of Al Zafein (UAE) and Al Merri (UAE) added yet another fabulous world title by winning Fujairah Grand Prix which is the 5th and final heat of The UIM X-Cat World Powerboat Series on Friday, 13th April 2012.

 

The winning was dramatic as Fazza started in last position overtaking other boats until it managed to overtake the early leader Mouawad (Omar Danial (Swiss) and Gary Ballough (USA)).

 

The race was spectated by H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, along with Mr. Saeed Hareb,

President of The UAE Marine Sports Federation, Sheikh Saif Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of Fujairah International Marine Club, and Major Ahmed Ibrahim, Managing Director of Fujairah International Marine Club, who together gave away the trophies to the winners and congratulated them for the spectacular race throughout the windy weather.
