FIMC prepare for 89th General Assembly in October

Since the announcement of 89th UIM General Assembly to be hosted by Fujairah International Marine Club from 16th - 23rd October 2016,  the FIMC management immediately began to prepare for hosting this international event for the first time in Fujairah.

 

Around 40 delegates and representatives including the UIM president and the Commissions Committee attended the UIM General Assembly.

 

During the General Assembly there were various topics on the table for discussion and deliberation, with the most important event, the mandatory voting for the delegates.

 

Several meetings have been held between the management of the Novotel - the official hotel and FIMC, in addition to the continuous communication with the UIM Office with regard  to the necessary requirements and arrangements for the event. 

 

All arrangements have been prepared to receive the UIM president and the members of the Commissions Committee.

 

In addition FIMC have agreed with the Novotel Hotel to facilitate the booking process for the delegates and that 5 meeting rooms be prepared, fully equipped with translator devices system. 

 

FIMC has also organised entertainment programs for the delegations, such as visiting some of the archaeological and tourist attractions in Fujairah, as well as some tourist attractions in Dubai.

 

Also in the honour of the General Assembly FIMC will Inauguration the new Youth Training Centre as it is one of most important programs of UIM which will provided specialist training for the sport of powerboat racing and at the same time provide  an educational foundation in general boating and water awareness skills.
