Fujairah Fishing Competition

On 4th January 2013, Fujairah International Marine Club organized yet another successful fishing competition. 

 

With their new rule which states that “All competitors may leave the harbor as early as their convenience as long as they have registered and have a participating number”. 

 

More than 30 competitors joined the competition on 9 boats aiming for the heaviest, longest, or the most unusual catch. The results were as the following:

 

Heaviest Catch

1st place: Barry Grant

2nd place: Mel Daghten

3rd place: Gregory Kurten

 

Longest Catch

1st place: Peter Jones

2nd place: Aaron Russ

3rd place: Roland Rosseler
