Fujairah International Marine Club to host UAE Olympic Rowing Championship

Fujairah International Marine Club will host in cooperation with UAE Sailing & Rowing Federation the second round of the UAE Olympic Rowing Championship on 5th April 2013. 

 

It is the first time in Fujairah to host such an event. 

 

What makes this year’s championship special is the participation of Fujairah Team as it is their first season. 

 

This event attracts over 60 participants from various clubs in UAE to compete in 12 categories as the following: 

 

Single Scull : Junior, Youth, Senior

Double Scull: Junior, Youth, Senior

Quad ripple Scull: Junior, Youth, Senior

Kayak: Junior, Youth, Senior

 

The competition will take place in the new breakwater and will be 1km for seniors categories and 500m for both juniors and youths categories.
