Fujairah International Marine Club to kick-off new water sports season

The water sports season is going to start at Fujairah International Marine Club (FIMC) in October. 

 

The season will kick-off with a fishing competition. There will be three prizes for the heaviest catches, three prizes for the longest catches, a prize for the most unusual catch, and to encourage female participation, FIMC will have 3 prizes for competing ladies. 

 

This year’s calendar will also have the season finale of The X-Cat World Powerboat Series which will be racing in Fujairah’s water for the first time. X-Cat defines the most challenging and extreme offshore powerboat racing in the world, the largest International contingent in the Offshore Powerboat Racing world and the biggest challenge in the Powerboat world. 

It also brings together the world’s largest fleet and the greatest number of International teams competing anywhere in the World.
