Fujairah Offshore Fishing Tournament

Fujairah targets to attract professional fishermen and fishing enthusiast as Fujairah International Marine Club will host Fujairah Offshore Fishing Tournament; an IGFA World Qualifying Round, in cooperation with Palma Holdings on 16-18 October.

 

IGFA is a non-profit organization committed to the conservation of fishing. The main objective of this event is to provide a platform for competitive world class fishing opportunities to encourage sportsmanship across the U.A.E., encourage youth in sport fishing and ocean ecology while rewarding charity institutions with fish caught during the tournament.

 

It also aims to attract youth and encourage them to learn more about fishing and ocean ecology, as students aged 14-18 years will be selected from various school as referees on the participating boats.
