Fujairah Team compete in the World Offshore 225 Championship in Turkey

Following the wise instructions of H.H. Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of The Federal Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, with the continuous support of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, Sheikh Saif Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of Fujairah International Marine Club, and His Excellence Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Vice Chairman of Fujairah International Marine Club., to promote Fujairah as one of the leading spots in watersports around the world, Fujairah Team participated in the World Offshore 225 Championship in Turkey as the first UAE team to compete in this category which started on 18th May 2013 in Samsun.

 

This championship contains 8 heats, taking place in different cities in Turkey, and follows the rules and regulations of the UIM which recognize this championship. 

 

Fujairah Team obtained the 5th position in the 1st heat and the 4th positing in the second heat which was on 19th May. The 3rd and 4th heat will take place in Istanbul on 25th and 26th May.

 

Major Ahmed Ebrahiem, Managing Director of Fujairah International Marine Club, and the Vice President of the UAE Marine Sports Federation, was elected as a commissioner by COMINOFF to supervise the championship.
