Aqua Marine Tours to organise cruises along East Coast

A new entertainment company has opened in Fujairah offering short-term day and evening cruises along the East Coast. Aqua Marine Tours and Schooner Aquarius have recently opened an office in Fujairah International Marine Club hoping to become an important part of tourism services in the region.

 

Valentina Denchukova, the Managing Director of Aqua Marine Tours hopes to give customers to explore Fujairah’s scenery with a different approach to sailing. Both her and her team are experienced in the UAE boat charter industry, and she alone is able to count more than 10 years experience.

 

‘Fujairah can attract a different kind of tourist- one who cares more about enjoying a relaxing natural environment at an easier pace. People are becoming more aware that UAE is not only modern skyscrapers and shopping centres.’

 

Aquarius is an 82-foot wooden schooner motorboat, built in Turkey in 2007. It has an open deck with enclosed cabins. The pace of the boat only runs to around 8 knots, equivalent to around 15 km/h- but Aqua Marine Tours agree that this is the ideal speed to appreciate the coastline at. 

 

On board the boat, there are plenty of cushions and seating- as well as quiet corners to read, sleep or relax. The boat has a capacity of 40 people, so it is unlikely to feel crowded. Tables and chairs are around, giving lots of freedom to passengers.

 

Aquarius also has an on-board ‘galley kitchen’ meaning it has full catering facilities- many packages include freshly prepared lunch or dinner as part of the cruise. The food is cooked on board and served to passengers, along with soft drinks and hot beverages. Mrs. Denchukova says that many different menus can be offered, and that the catering services are very flexible to the needs of clients. She always makes sure fresh fruits and drinks are available whenever people may want them.

 

As well as having an open deck for relaxing, Aquarius also has 4 restrooms on board, two of which have showers. There are also small salons for dressing and privacy. There are both shaded and open areas to suit everyone’s need for sun exposure, and a deck to comfortably enter the water by a ladder. A small boat is available to take passengers from the boat to the beach if they wish to stop for a while.

 

They are able to provide snorkelling equipment to passengers, as well as having on board audiovisual equipment that can be utilized for seminars or presentations. This all makes Aquarius ideal for gatherings, training programs, or corporate team-building days.

 

Prices will vary depending on the package taken; however cruises can be up to 12 hours, with customisable meal and drink options. Aqua Marine Tours have considerable experience in dealing with large hotel groups, but are fully equipped to handle private bookings for leisure or corporate guests.
