Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa – Al Aqah Beach invited around 40 orphans from the Fujairah Charity Association and their mothers to enjoy a “Fun Iftar” held on the 15th of September 2009 at the Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa. The kids were swimming in the pool and playing fun games in the kid’s club before enjoying a specially prepared buffet at Mozaique restaurant.
“I’m proud of what our team did today, it is our duty to support the less fortunate and to be an active member in the society we are living in. Rotana has always played a major role in supporting the charity initiatives around the region and we are trying our best to extend the same and maintain it here in Fujairah” said Mrad El Khoury, General Manager of Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa.

The Fujairah Charity Association was established in 1987 by the ruler of Fujairah His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi and the deputy ruler of Fujairah His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Saif Al Sharqi. It aims at assisting destitute families, giving subsidies and supporting orphans so that they don’t abandon their studies at an early age.
