They Do It again!

St. Mary’s Catholic High School, Fujairah is proud to present the remarkable performance of the students at the Board Exams held in March (CBSE) and May-June (GCE, GCSE), 2009.
The school community embraces international diversity and strives to produce an academically challenging environment in order to foster intellectual curiosity and a sense of responsibility in our students.
kids1The Class X CBSE students have continued to produce excellent results , for the fourth consecutive year, in the Central Board of Secondary Examinations held in March, this year.

The school has secured 100 % results. 9 out of the 11 students who appeared for the exams have scored distinction, with excellent grades in all subjects.

Kavya Joseph has topped the list scoring 93.6%. Ivana Rakshit is the second topper with 92.6%. Swetha Jacob and Jisha Mathew bagged the third place with 90.4%. These students shine not only in academics but are blessed with special talent in sports, music, literary skills apart from being voracious readers.
Kavya Joseph scored the highest in Social Studies (99%), Science (95%) and French (92%).
Swetha Jacob scored the highest in Social Studies (99%), Science (95%) and Malayalam (89%).
Jisha Mathew scored her highest in Math (95%), English (91%) and Malayalam (89%).

Central Board of Secondary Examinations
The O’ Level ( GCSE ) students too faired extremely well in the Edexcel GCSE London Board Examination. Yazan Emad and Anika Tahsin Khan with their outstanding performance have secured 6 A*s and 2 A s each. Zahraa Tahseen Ibrahim with 5 A*s and 2 A s, Alaa Ibrahim N Swify with 5 A*s, Yanal Kashef Kamal with 3 A *s and 6 A s and Hamdan Hashim Abdulla Sarhan with 3 A*s and 3 A s were the other toppers.

In the A’ Level Edexcel GCE London Board Examination Rushna Quddus secured 3A s, Pooja Ramaswamy and Mosammat Sayema secured 2 A s each and were placed as toppers.

Extra coaching, practice classes and personal attention are offered free through the two years of Secondary Education so as to prepare the students to give in their best in the Board Exams.
Parents as part of the school community have encouraged and supported the effort taken by the school. We find joy in this joint effort.
