The sixth Fujairah Recruitment Fair 2012 was successfully organized by the Human Resources Department, Government of Fujairah, under the slogan (through strong loyalty we met and your employment is our goal), and which was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Al-Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah.
The fair was inaugurated by H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Hamad Al-Sharqi who was accompanied by local dignitaries as he toured the exhibition hall and spoke to prospective employees.
The fair saw the participation of 75 local governmental, federal, military & civilian entities as well as semi-governmental and private institutions.
The exhibition attracted a large group of Emirati job seekers as the number of visitors was put at 5,381 of which 4,018 was the total number of job applicants vying for an estimated 3,165 jobs on offer, 70% of which were for the armed forces and 20% from the private sector.
Mohammed Khalifa Al-Zouaydi, Director of Human Resources in the Government of Fujairah, stated that the fair saw the participation of a wide range of bodies, including 13 employers, regarded as among the leading national companies in the country, taking part for the first time which reaffirms their commitment and interest in hiring skilled nationals.
