His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, applaud the promotion of Dibba Fujairah FC to play in the UAE’s top flight for next season.
H.H. also praised the management and players of the team who managed to secure second place at the conclusion of the first division (A) thus achieving the promotion dream, which lived in the imagination of the management and fans of the club for the past 36 years.
Sheikh Hamad expressed his joy at the success of the club during a meeting with the players and administrators of the club at his palace in Fujairah.
The attendees thanked His Highness and expressed their joy with their historical achievement, which they described as a natural result of the substantial support received by sports in general, and the club, in particular.
The Ruler of Fujairah rewarded the players, coaches and club administrators with a financial bonus of half a million dirhams in honour of the outstanding successes.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Mohammed Saeed Al-Dhanhani, Director of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah, H.E. Salem Al-Zahmi, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, H.E. Engineer Mohammed Saif Al-Afkham, Director of Fujairah Municipality, as well as the presence of Mohammed Hassan Al-Dhanhani, the chairman of the board of Dibba Fujairah FC.
